Maple Cinnabun

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • ½ cup chopped pecan nuts
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup icing sugar
  • 4-5 tsp water
  • Egg wash
  1. Roll put the puff pastry and cut into 6 long strips
  2. In a bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar together
  3. Drizzle maple and spread evenly with a knife
  4. Sprinkle nuts, ginger, and cinnamon sugar over the pastry
  5. Brush the edges on the pastry with egg wash
  6. Roll up the strip tightly, cut in half or three to create a cinnabun
  7. Place in the air fryer and fry for 8 minutes at 160°c. Then up the temperature to 180°c for 10 minutes
  8. Serve warm
