Maple Cinnabun

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • ½ cup chopped pecan nuts
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ¼ cup icing sugar
  • 4-5 tsp water
  • Egg wash


  • Roll put the puff pastry and cut into 6 long strips
  • In a bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar together
  • Drizzle maple and spread evenly with a knife
  • Sprinkle nuts, ginger, and cinnamon sugar over the pastry
  • Brush the edges on the pastry with egg wash
  • Roll up the strip tightly, cut in half or three to create a cinnabun
  • Place in the air fryer and fry for 8 minutes at 160°c. Then up the temperature to 180°c for 10 minutes
  • Serve warm
