Malva Pudding
Ingredients
- 65 ml margarine
- 250 ml sugar
- 1 tsp apricot jam
- 1 egg
- 250 ml self-raising flour
- 5 ml bicarbonate of soda
- 250 ml milk
- 15 ml vinegar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 100 ml sugar
- 125 ml water
Instructions
- Cream margarine and sugar. Add jam. Mix well
- Whisk egg into mixture.
- Fold in self-raising flour.
- Dissolve bicarbonate of soda in milk before adding.
- Add vinegar and mix well.
- Pour into large microwave dish and microwave for 10 – 12 minutes on high.
- Sauce: Dissolve sugar in boiling water and add evaporated milk.
- Pour over hot pudding.
- Serve with custard.
