Maple Cinnabun
Ingredients
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- ½ cup chopped pecan nuts
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup icing sugar
- 4-5 tsp water
- Egg wash
Instructions
- Roll put the puff pastry and cut into 6 long strips
- In a bowl mix the cinnamon and sugar together
- Drizzle maple and spread evenly with a knife
- Sprinkle nuts, ginger, and cinnamon sugar over the pastry
- Brush the edges on the pastry with egg wash
- Roll up the strip tightly, cut in half or three to create a cinnabun
- Place in the air fryer and fry for 8 minutes at 160°c. Then up the temperature to 180°c for 10 minutes
- Serve warm
