  • 1 large ripe avocado pear
  • 1 ripe plum tomato
  • 1 fresh or tinned jalapeno pepper
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 T chopped fresh coriander
  • 5 ml Tabasco sauce
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste


  • Cut the avocado pear in half, remove the pip and peel.
  • Finely chop the tomato.
  • Core, seed and finely chop the jalapeno pepper.
  • In a large bowl, using a potato masher or fork, mash the avocado pear with the lemon juice until it is fairly smooth.
  • Stir in the chopped tomato and jalapeno pepper, coriander and Tabasco sauce.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the guacamole in a small bowl and serve with Salticrax.
